Quick Snapshot
Why You'll Love It
Here's what stands out about the SQOE SEIB550 Ivory Whisper White HSH Super Strat Series.
An Okoume + Burl Top With A Roasted Maple Neck
An Okoume body with a burl-veneer top pairs with a roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard, giving the SEIB550 a distinctive figured look along with the added stability roasting brings against humidity and temperature swings.
HSH Alnico 5 Pickups With Dual Coil-Split
Alnico 5 humbuckers at the neck and bridge flank a single coil in the middle, with two independent mini switches to split each humbucker - covering warm cleans, bright single-coil tones, and full humbucker output from one guitar.
A Slim C Neck Built For Fast Playing
24 medium jumbo frets over a 12" radius and a slim C neck profile keep bends, solos, and fast runs comfortable across the whole fretboard on this Super Strat-shaped body.
A Full-Block 6-Point Tremolo For Stable Vibrato
SQOE's 6-point tremolo with a full-size block delivers expressive vibrato and dive-bombs while a bone nut and SQOE die-cast tuners help the guitar hold its tuning through regular use.
Meet SQOE
SQOE traces its name back to a Spanish guitar-making lineage - the Esquivel family, who by SQOE's own account have handcrafted guitars since 1883 - and builds its identity today around the backronym "Sound Quality Over Experience." Guitars sold under the SQOE name are manufactured in China, with a catalog spanning classical, folk, dreadnought, and electric models. The SEIB550 sits in SQOE's Super Strat range, built around a burl-topped body, a roasted maple neck, and an HSH pickup layout with dual coil-split aimed at players who want both vintage-inspired looks and modern tonal flexibility.

The SEIB550 steps up from the SEIB370 and SEST600 with a figured Okoume + burl top, a roasted maple neck for extra stability, and true dual coil-split switching on its HSH Alnico 5 pickups - the SEIB370 and SEST600 use plainer tonewoods and, in the SEIB370's case, no coil-split at all. All three share a 6-point or 6-saddle tremolo family, but the SEIB550 keeps a tremolo arm and Allen key in the box rather than the gig bag and kit the other two now ship with.
