Quick Snapshot
Why You'll Love It
Everything you would normally buy extra gear for - effects, amp simulation, a recording interface and a practice amp - is already in the guitar.
Silent Practice, Anytime
Plug headphones into the monitor output, stream a backing track over Bluetooth and play with full effects at midnight - no amp, no noise complaints.
Record Without an Interface
OTG recording connects the guitar straight to your phone, tablet or computer, so covers, reels and song ideas go from guitar to file without extra gear.
Gig-Ready Presets
Plug the standard 6.35mm output into any amp or PA and switch between onboard presets like Clean, Overdrive and Heavy Distortion at rehearsal or on stage.
Easy for Beginners
Preset tones are stored on the guitar out of the box, so a new player gets a good sound straight away without learning pedals or amp settings first.
Endless Tones From the Cloud
The DOUBLE app cloud library lets you browse, like and download tones made by other players, and upload your own to share.
A Familiar Stratway Feel
Underneath the smart features is a Stratocaster-style basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, roasted maple fingerboard and synchronized tremolo.
The Strydom Standard
Strydom Guitars are built on one idea: your first guitar does not have to be average. Every model, from beginner to professional, is held to the same standard of sound and durability - a vision that comes from John Strydom, a veteran of the live music industry known for making anything sound exceptional. For the ST30 PRO Riot 1S, Strydom x DOUBLE co-developed the Riot 1S Pickup System to bring smart, affordable electric guitars to more players. Strydom Guitars: crafted with nature, precision, and soul - because Sound Matters.
Engineered With Purpose
Riot 1S Pickup System
Pickups, an onboard multi-effects processor, Bluetooth and a rechargeable battery share one integrated circuit inside the guitar. The GAIN/FX knob with its light ring, TONE and MASTER knobs, a mini toggle and the pickup selector put the essentials under your hand, so you get amp and effects tones straight from the guitar.
DOUBLE App and Cloud Tone Library
Connect to the DOUBLE app over Bluetooth and build tones with modelled effects, cabinet IR speaker simulation and full-range precision EQ, then save presets to the guitar. The same connection streams backing tracks from your phone, and the cloud library lets you download tones from other players or share your own.
Stratway Body and Roasted Maple Neck
A Stratocaster-style basswood body with a bolt-on maple Modern C neck, roasted maple fingerboard, 22 medium frets and a 648mm scale. Chrome hardware, die-cast tuners and a synchronized tremolo keep it a proper electric guitar first, with HSS ceramic pickups for clear single-coil cleans and a punchy bridge humbucker.
