Strydom has built its name in India on straightforward, reliable electric guitars for players who want real tone without a premium price tag. For the AU01, Strydom partnered with Enya - the Chinese smart-instrument company that pioneered pairing carbon fiber guitar bodies with onboard DSP chips and app control - to bring that same smart-guitar platform to India under the Strydom name for the first time. Founded in 2011 in Huizhou, Guangdong, Enya built its smart-guitar technology into a lineup now sold in 40+ countries, backed by 70+ patents across carbon fiber construction, chip algorithms, and app-based interaction. The AU01 carries that same engineering into a new colorway lineup made for Indian players.
Engineered With Purpose
Onboard DSP, Not a Pedal Substitute
The Enya E-SP1 chip sits inside the guitar body and drives all four presets on its own - Clean, Overdrive, Distortion, and High-Gain Lead - so you get a real amp tone the moment you plug in, with or without your phone nearby.
One-Piece Carbon Fiber Body
An integrated die-cast, one-piece carbon fiber composite body keeps the AU01 at roughly 3.3kg while resisting the warping and cracking that humidity and heat cause in traditional wood-bodied electrics.
5-Way HSS Pickup Switching
A custom ceramic humbucker at the bridge and ceramic single coils at neck and middle, run through a 5-way blade switch, cover everything from glassy cleans to high-output lead tones.
The Enya App Ecosystem
Connect over Bluetooth to the Enya Music app to fine-tune all four presets, use the built-in tuner and metronome, play along to backing tracks, and record straight from the guitar via USB-C OTG.
