The OM40B pairs a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. A solid top vibrates more freely than a laminate, giving clear projection and a voice that opens up as you play it in, while mahogany adds warmth to the lows and mids. This one is finished in natural matte.
Rosewood Fingerboard And Stainless Steel Frets
A rosewood fingerboard with abalone-look inlays carries round-end stainless steel frets on a 648mm (25.5") scale. The rosewood-veneer headstock with its inlay holds chrome die-cast, fully enclosed tuners for steady tuning.
A 40-Inch OM Body That Is Easy To Hold
The OM (orchestra model) shape is a mid-size body with a narrow waist, smaller and more comfortable on the leg than a full dreadnought. With no cutaway, the OM40B keeps the full body outline. A rosewood bridge, white ABS binding and a red tortoise pickguard finish it off.
