The AC40C pairs a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. A solid top vibrates more freely than a laminate, giving clear projection and a voice that opens up as you play it in, while mahogany adds warmth to the lows and mids. This one is finished in matte tobacco sunburst.
Rosewood Fingerboard And Stainless Steel Frets
A rosewood fingerboard with abalone-look inlays carries round-end stainless steel frets on a 648mm (25.5") scale. The rosewood-veneer headstock with its inlay holds chrome die-cast, fully enclosed tuners for steady tuning.
A 40-Inch Cutaway Body That Is Easy To Hold
SQOE's 40-inch AC body is smaller and more comfortable than a full dreadnought, and the cutaway opens up the upper frets for lead lines and chord shapes higher up the neck. A rosewood bridge, white ABS binding and a red tortoise pickguard finish it off.
