A Solid Mahogany Top
The 36GS-AS has a solid mahogany top over mahogany back and sides. A solid top vibrates more freely than a laminate, so this small guitar sounds fuller and more natural than a typical laminate travel acoustic, and the tone tends to open up as it is played in. A multi-ring rosette frames the soundhole.
A 36-Inch Body You Can Take Anywhere
At 36 inches, the GS-style body is noticeably smaller than a standard 40 or 41-inch acoustic, so it is easy to carry, fits in tight spaces and sits comfortably for younger or smaller players. It still uses a full guitar shape and six steel strings, so it plays and sounds like a proper acoustic, not a toy.
Engineered Wood Fingerboard With Dot Inlays
The fingerboard is engineered wood with dot position markers, a stable, dense material used as an alternative to traditional rosewood. A black headstock face with the SQOE logo carries chrome enclosed tuners with black buttons, and a black bridge with black pins anchors the strings.
