Engineered With Purpose
A 4-inch driver with a passive radiator behind it
Small bass amps usually run out of low end first. The BA-30 pairs its 4-inch full-range speaker with a 113 x 113mm low-frequency passive radiator, and JOYO tuned the 30W output across the frequency bands so the fundamental of a low E stays round instead of turning to mush. The A5-sized cabinet has internal reinforcement and sound-dampening material to keep the box itself from colouring the tone.
3-band EQ with a sweepable mid and a built-in compressor
Bass, Middle and Treble knobs cover the basics, and a separate MID FREQ knob moves the mid band anywhere from 200Hz to 2000Hz - scoop the low mids for slap, or push the upper mids so a pick cuts through. The COMPRESS knob dials in studio-style compression that evens out harsh attacks and lifts quieter notes, which is exactly what an uneven right hand needs.
A USB-C audio interface is built in
Connect the USB-C OTG port to a phone or computer and the BA-30 shows up as an audio input, so you can record a bass track, live stream or film a cover without a separate interface. The dedicated OTG VOL knob sets the recording level independently of the speaker volume, so you can avoid clipping or a too-quiet take that is hard to fix later.
Headphone practice that mutes the speaker
Plug into the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack (32 ohm) and the speaker mutes automatically, so late-night practice stays between you and your headphones. You still hear the full-range bass tone plus any Bluetooth backing track, with separate control over instrument and track levels.
Bluetooth 5.1 for backing tracks
Press the BASS knob to switch Bluetooth on, pair your phone with "VIBE CUBE", and play along to songs, drum loops or lessons through the same speaker as your bass. The Bluetooth 5.1 chipset keeps the connection stable while you play.
Mains adapter or a 65W power bank
Indoors it runs from the included 20V 2A adapter. Outdoors, plug a USB-C power bank rated 65W or higher (PD 2.0 or later, with a 65W USB-C cable) into the USB PD2.0+ port and play anywhere. There is no internal battery, so the amp always needs one of those two power sources.
