The Hex Guitars Standard
Hex Guitars is the South Korean team behind HILS Guitars, its international sister brand. Before building instruments under its own name, Hex spent the early 2000s onward manufacturing guitars for other established brands experience it has since funneled into its own factory in Indonesia, where every Hex and HILS instrument is now built and inspected in-house. The brand's own stated goal is a genuinely high-end playing experience without a premium-tier price tag.
Engineered With Purpose

A Body Shaped Around How You Actually Sit
The compact NS body is designed with where your arm naturally rests in mind, maximizing playing comfort an ergonomic shape Hex describes as resting naturally in various positions across your leg.

Headless, Not Headache
A double-locking headpiece built into the bridge replaces the headstock entirely Hex's own materials describe it as preventing string slippage and providing stable tuning, without the string trees some 6-in-line headstock designs need.

An HSS Pairing That Actually Blends
Alnico 5 single coils in the neck and middle positions are matched in output to a ceramic bridge humbucker, so the 5-way switch moves between vintage-leaning single-coil chime and a bite-y humbucker tone without an awkward volume jump, per Hex's own product notes.

NS100 and NT100 share the same headless double-locking platform, Indonesian mahogany body, and 25.5" scale the real difference is pickup layout. NT100 keeps it simple with two single coils and a 3-way switch for classic T-style tones, while NS100 adds a ceramic bridge humbucker and a 5-way switch for a wider HSS tonal range.
