True Galvanic Isolation
Arowana AudioGlyph supplies separate the AC mains side from the DC output with a 3.0 kV optical and magnetic isolation barrier. That stops mains hum, stray ground loops and 50 Hz buzz from reaching your signal chain - even on stages shared with lighting dimmers and air conditioners.
Shielded DC Cable With Ferrite Choke
The 1-metre shielded DC cable with inline ferrite choke uses a heavy-duty dual-conductor lead with full-coverage aluminium/mylar foil and a drain wire, so radiated switching noise stays inside the jacket instead of coupling into single-coil pickups and Hi-Z patch cables. A sintered nickel-zinc (NiZn) ferrite bead moulded next to the plug acts as a common-mode choke - over 120 ohms at 100 MHz across the 10-500 MHz band - trapping Wi-Fi, LED-dimmer and switching hash before it reaches your keyboards, synths and studio gear, with zero DC insertion loss.
Protected Against Spikes, Shorts And Heat
A three-tier protection system guards your gear: fast TVS surge clamping for grid spikes, automatic foldback short-circuit protection that resets once a pinched cable is cleared, and a thermal cutoff for long, hot sets. The universal 110-300V AC input rides through venue voltage sags without rebooting.
Precision Plug, Tour-Grade Housing
The DC barrel is precision-machined to +/-0.05mm with phosphor-bronze spring contacts (under 25 milliohm contact resistance), so it grips tightly and will not crackle or drop out when you stomp. Multi-ribbed overmoulded TPE strain-relief boots at both ends are rated for over 10K flex cycles, and the matte black UL94-V0 flame-retardant enclosure with its non-conductive dummy earth pin is built for road cases and stage power boxes.
